car ran fine last night. went out this morning and no spark
As the title states. No spark. I had a new icm on hand and went and changed it a few min ago. It had some green on the yellow and green wires wich i think is normal. Also the coil is a newer msd one and the conecters are ok. The car is a 87 tpi 350 iroc. Any ideas? Ive only got a few days left on my vaca and this is my only car. Thanks

Fuse is good. I let it sit for a min and it started up so i went for a ride to the store started up a few times but as soon as i went to bring it home it wouldn't start. Just got back with the tow truck. Now i dont think i am getting injector pulse. I gotta figure this thing out.... bout to have a bonfire!

I just read your attachment. It was helpfull i have to wait for my roommate to bring a multi meter home. But most likely it is the pickup coil. The zone has one in stock so hopefully ill be back up and running soon. Thanks for the help, ill keep u posted.

Have you checked the ohm rating on your fuel injectors?
One bad injector can shut down the whole side
a good injector should read between 12-16 ohms give or take
anything less than that should probably be replaced

Still no start. I replaced the whole distributor it came with everything the coil is good. It wanted to fire but would only burp... it was alittle too advanced so i regarded it a bit and it just cranks with no sputter at all. What else is their? The injectors ohmd good. Im stuck and i need my car for work.

Got it to run but needs do have foot on the gas and sputters while runniing and as soon as i take my foot off the gas it dies. Also i jumped the aldl and came up with a code 42. Ihe ecm ground is good and the diz came with a new icm wiring from the icm is good too. I hope its not the ecm any ideas?

I had this problem. Ran fine one day, the next, nothing. Turned out that the pick up coil in the distributor was bad (it crumbled when I touched it). rebuilt teh distributor with a new pick up coil, module, and cap/rotor. Runs like a champ now.
