Not a dam thing wrong...

After years of working on suspension, engine upgrades, ecm upgrades, ac upgrade, etc...

I took my 91 Formula TPI 5 Speed out for a ride the other day.... and it rides about as smooth as my Honda Accord

A host of parts purchased / installed, EBL P4 Flash, new Southbay Injectos, ported / polished plenum, SFC's, poly trans and engine mounts, Jet hot Hooker 2055's, 3" Flowmaster car back 1 in 1 out, LCA's and Panhard bar, wonder bar, stb, poly end links and sway bar bushings, new springs and bilstein all the way around, pro 5.0 shifter, air foil, 170 thermostat, coolant bypass, and I'm sure a few more things I've forgotten...

I often wondered how this car felt right out of the factory, but I'm sure it's better now...

Thanks to all of the help, advice and parts I've gotten from thirdgen.org.

My car is by no means finished, but it is a pleasure to drive!

Rafael

Re: Not a dam thing wrong...

And idles smooooooth.... Before getting a few things fixed, it was rough, car shaking...
New injectors, Digital MSD box, and it's even and smooth... actually better than my Honda Accord (shakes the steering wheel like a paint shaker when idiling!)

And the AC in the firebird is colder than the on in my Honda too... I got a new compressor and all new parts for the new refrigerant. Saving up for paint, all new glass (minus t tops) and finish up the interior.... BBS turbo header waiting for engine replacement down the road...
