87' TPI 305 Running issues.

I have been working on my Camaro for a bit now and have run into an issue that has me stuck. I start the car and let it warm up for a bit. All seems well so I take it for a spin around the block and still good. So I decide to move the car from where I was keeping it to my house across town. About halfway there something happens. I came to a stop at am intersection and when I tried to start accelerating it seems as if any movement of the throttle at all chokes the engine. Its a total loss of power. The only way it will return to running right is to shut the car off for a few minutes and then start again. I am so lost on this and really need some help. Thanks.

I noticed you have the same post under "General" but will reply to this one since it is a TPI. This could be a lot of things, but I think the usual suspects are the TPS, MAF, and/or ECM. Basically the same things people told you three years ago, and it looks like you already changed your TPS and MAF.

Great to see you are getting it back out! Any new information? Are you getting an SES light? Any codes to report? Did you ever change out your ECM?

Re: 87' TPI 305 Running issues.

No new ECM yet. I haven't really been able to do much to it while it was parked elsewhere but I'm gonna start getting it cleaned up again and try to get it running smooth so I can drive it again. So no new info yet. I do get a SES light but when I shut the car off it goes away and when I try to check for a code it doesn't show any codes stored. I guess the ECM is going to be the next thing I replace.
