305 tpi running rough
So, I've been tinkering with my '86 Iroc for a while and still don't have it running right. It didn't run when I bought it. The engine wiring harness was trashed. I bought a nice harness, computer and distributor from an '87 and rewired the car. I also replaced the plugs and wires. With the timing set a 6 degress, it will start but will not idle and acts like it's running on about 6 cyl's. I'm not sure what to check next or how. I did check that all the plugs were firing, so I'm leaning towards some of the cylendars not getting fuel possibly?..
You have to keep the engine revved above 2k rpm just to keep it running. Do you think I might have some bad injectors? What should I do next? I'm getting a little frustrated with it.

Ohm your injectors and do a fuel pressure test
Its hard for others to help with that little bit of information
And most wont give there 2 cents until further diagnosis
Because with out that there just giving you there best guess
With the little info you have provided.

Thank you for the response. That's exactly what I was saying. I didn't know what to check next. What should the injectors ohm at and what should the fuel pressure be. Where's the best place to check the fuel pressure?

Injectors should be between 15-18 ohms.
On the passenger side of the engine by your fuel
Pressure regulator there's a valve(shrader valve)
Should have a screw off cap on it your fuel pressure
Tester will screw on there, on prime up it should read
43 psi, while idling I believe 40 psi could be wrong.

Ok, thanks. I'll check that this weekend and post what I find. Thank you for your help. That's all I was asking for at this point was what to check next and how to check it.
