Edelbrock Cylinder heads

Hey guys. I am trying to figure out the next round of modifications that I want to do to my car. I've got a stock AC Delco remanufactured L98 with about 25,000 miles. I've got an upgraded aftermarket trans with a converter. I've got hooker headers, an aftermarket cat, and flowmaster cat back. Other than that, the car is all stock.

I want to get arizona speed and marine intake runners and an aftermarket base.

I want to do a heads and cam swap at somepoint to. I live in California so I have to deal with emissions. I was wondering if these centerbolt style edlebrock heads were any good?

My goals for the car are to have a emissions legal street car. I don't take the car to the drag strip or autocross it. I go on curvy mountain roads every so often and I do a lot of highway driving. I want a well running street car when I am done that still has stock style reliability.

Re: Edelbrock Cylinder heads

I have been looking at those heads also. Basically, they are upgraded L98 castings. Bigger valves, etc. No direct experience with them but you should get a mild performance bump with them.

Don't buy them. They are a waste of money. Trickflow is a better bet and more power.

i have A$&M Runners, GMPP Fast Burn (Aluminum Vortec) Heads, and Edelbrock Lower Intake (for Vortec.) I am thinking of upgrading to a First Injection system. Therefore, i may be selling my Edelbrock Base, AS&M Runners, Plenum & Stock TB w/Airfoil - all together or individually.

the base would require Vortec, Fast Burn, or Edelbrock E-Tec Heads. the Runners are powdercoated black chrome (gunmetal grey)[natual finish is so hard to keep clean]. the plenum is powdercoated gloss black.

anyhow lemme know if youre interested. an interested buyer may prompt me to pull the trigger on getting the FIRST system sooner than later.

Re: Edelbrock Cylinder heads

Thanks for the info guys. What about AFR heads? Would those be the same as trick flows?

forgot to mention, the above listed parts have about 1,000 miles on them, so they're like new.

Re: Edelbrock Cylinder heads

The same trick flow head with the .600 lift springs is actually alot more cash $1499.
