Car: 86 Trans Am
Engine: 305 Tpi
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.23
350 truck motor
I just got a 96 yukon 350 vortec motor.. I have a 86 trans am with 305 tpi.. I wanna build the 350 truck motor and put my tpi on it.. wha all should I do to make this all work?

Yup! I just built an L31-R (same long block as the Yukon, but brand new). Used the HSR for Vortec, w/ 24# injectors. Biggest issue I am having is getting the spark table dialed in in the prom. The Vortec head/cam combo likes more advance than the stock 5.7, and I'm not sure HOW much more. But it's enough that the issue is highly noticeable on a 'stock' 5.7 prom. So it's trial and error for me right now, I'm a tuning newb.
