Mild 383 Build
It seems I read alot of others wanting to build a 335 stroker a 350 and 383 stroker and asking what the best bang for the buck.
What will make a great DD street motor with some power to it this is the Dyno Number from My own 383 Mild build in my 1986 vett.
Keep in mind these number are from Dyno 2003 computer Program putting the car on a roller dyno the numbers will be diffrent + or - at the crank.
On paper this car at 3500Lb and HP should be able to run 12.5 in the 1/4 mile.
I started with the stock L98 220HP 330Tq then went with a 355 Mild Build 357HP 420Tq now I have my 338 403HP 498Tq.
Good luck with your own build but the owners like my self this should pass Ca Smog I find out next month the car due for a smog check.
This what it sounds like sorry I had the dryer in the back ground running at the same time.
