Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

Hey guys, i just got a set of injectors from ebay today. They were supposed to be 22# injector Bosch 2's. I just checked the part number (0280150973) on them and from what I could gather is that these might be 18# er's. Is this true? If so these things are getting sent back!! any help would be awesome.

Here's the ones that I got for reference

I'm not an expert on fuel injectors but it looks like they're 19# injectors...

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

if he refuses to refund your money open up a dispute with ebay and paypal. Although
if you got a good deal just re-sell them. Are they used or reman's?

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

From what the item info said they were supposed to be reman's. I wrote the guy before I bought them and asked him if the ones in the picture were the ones I was getting. He replied that they were but when I opened the box i got 8 rust spotted injectors. I don't know what the cleaner smells like to clean injectors but to me they smell like WD40 was just sprayed through them.

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

I got a reply from the guy and from what he tells me that the injectors flow 19lb at 39 psi and 22 at 43.5, is that right? He said he would refund me but with a restocking fee.

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

i hate when people try to bullshit people... ford injectors flow at 39 psi while gm injectors flow 43.5.. i would get my money back and look elsewhere...guys obviously doesn't know what he is talking about and he sent you crap with pitted spots on it.... i woud go to southbay injectors or some other big name injector people...... cause in the end trying to save a buck turns into spending more money...

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

I wish I had gone with southbay, I had the money but I also need to get other things as well. I shouldn't have second guessed myself ,lol. The guy wrote me back again, I guess i pissed him off because he says that there are a ton of ebay listings stating that these injectors flow 22lb,lol.

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

well i might try to see if I can fight this guy with ebay. he said he would refund me but he wants to charge me a 35% restocking fee!!!! WTF! He's trying to stand behind the whole flowing 22lb's at 43.5 psi. just for giggles is he right? I'm not to sure.

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

the dude is a liar.... i just look that part number up and they all say that its 19lb injectors.... on his ebay had he said there is one year warranty on them... you havent even used them so i dont understand why he is complaining.... besides if you were paying for 22lb injectors and got 19lb injectors that is false advertisment.... plus who in the world charges a 35% stocking fee... he is trying to get some money out of you regardless.. very bad business on his part... i would contact ebay...

NO he's FULL OF SH-T!

We sell a ton of these things! They are 19lb Injectors! I would like to see one add on ebay that lists them as 22lb. Whoever has them listed that way does not know what they are talking about! Ask this joker if he flows his own injectors and how he knows or why he THINKS that they are 22lb.
Again, I would fight for a full refund! Screw this 35% restocking fee!
If you need proof of flow rate, let us know and we will give you a flow sheet, You can submit it to ebay and paypal. You may get your money back from them.

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

I also learned recently to not buy used injectors. I purchased 22# and got 19#...from now on only buying new.

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

Thanks South, If you could shoot me that flow sheet I would greatly appreciate it. I wrote him back and told him it was ridiculous for wanting to charge me that much. I think 5-10% is fair but 35% is a freaking joke. If he won't agree to that then I will report him to ebay. I'll give him a chance at least to make it right in the interest of good business. My best guess is he wasn't counting on someone who actually checks part numbers and does research, lol. Too bad I did it after the fact. DAMN IMPULSE BUYING!!! haha.

Re: Did I get sent the wrong injectors?

not a problem. IMO I wouldn't give him a freaking dime! Charging you a restocking fee for injectors that HE sent and they turned out to be the wrong ones is unacceptable, poor customer service, and downright bad business!! Why should you have to pay for his error? But that's just me

give me your email address and we will get a copy over to you some time today....it might be late as we are overwhelmed with backorders and trying to get orders shipped.

Yep, if you can get a refund, great! If not, you can use those injectors, just turn up the pressure and retune for it. They will flow 22lbs at 58psi...lsx pressure level.

Not that bad really. Injectors can handle it. Good luck with your ebay issues. I've been there and dont really want to use those sites anymore.
