Need new injectors
I have an '88 IROC with the 5.7 TPI. One of the injectors is leaking. I'm wondering if anyone on here has used the redesigned Accel injectors or Trick Flow injectors. Summit Racing has decent prices on these, and they are close by so the shipping doesn't take long. I saw some bad posts about the older Accel ones but haven't seen anything on the newer ones. I know South Bay Injectors has good reviews and prices on rebuilt Bosch injectors, but my mechanic is a bit scared to install something that has to be shipped from across the country. And so am I. I know South Bay gives a three-year warranty, but that's not going to cover the labor of pulling the faulty injectors out and putting the new ones in. Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.

Re: Need new injectors
Racetronix actually has the correct injectors for your car.

Also, I believe the Trick Flow injectors are Lucas style injectors that Racetronix sells

Re: Need new injectors
Somewhat related....
I emailed Racetronix, they only have the injectors for a 5.7, but I can tune my ecm for them to run ok in my 5.0... They are new injectors...
I know they are different design than South Bay's injectors, which are rebuilt...
Which would you go with, Racetronix new for $280 or SouthBay Rebuilt for $140 (keeping in mind they are both different designs) ???
Thanks...
