89 tpi 305 to 350

i have a 89 ta originally had 305 now has 350 supposedly bored .60 w/ mild cam ( supposedly came as crate motor) previous owner use all components needed from the stock 305. i since have replaced the prom to one for a 350 and am currently seeking info on the fpr and injectors
the car will run 20 min then stall i have been told to try replacing the fpr BUT being that it has a vaccuum hose on it i cant believe it is affecting the fuel pump.
any pointers?????

Re: 89 tpi 305 to 350

Monitor what is actually going on by a combination of data-logging, wide-band O2 sensor, and gauges, like a fuel pressure gauge.

Is your fuel tank properly vented? Do you notice excessive vacuum when removing the fuel cap?
What is your fuel pressure doing during operation?

Re: 89 tpi 305 to 350

not really sure what you mean by wide-band o2 sensor but when the car was running a mechanic friend of mine said the fuel pressure was within specs of course this was before it started stalling. question is i was told from another mechanic to replace the injectors , the fpr then possibly the fuel pump problem is money to do everything without being sure it is what the problem is. as far as the fuel tank pressure etc i dont believe there is excessive vacuum and as far as i know it is stock. is it possible that sea foam could have caused a problem???
