22lb Bosch 3's vs 24lb Bosch 2's (ford blue tops)
I have a stock engine, stock TPI 350 car. I currently have the 24lb ford blue tops, they are basically brand new have like 2500 miles on them. I have a set of 22lb Bosch type 3's that prolly have around 10k miles on them. Should I even bother swapping them out? The car runs phenomenal (now that I have fixed the misfire)
I know the 3's have a superior spray pattern, but is there really any performance to gain to be seen?

Congrats on your car running phenominal. Not many people can say that about their third gen, so why would you wanna change anything? Especially replace a part with a used part and that has more miles on it?

Thank you, I am pretty picky about my cars I spend any necessary time keeping them running well. The injectors came out of a close friends car and are only 2yrs old at the most. The only reason I would change anything is the never ending goal to make more power and go faster.

I really didn't know the difference in spray pattern was that great. I can now see why everyone raves about them.

Keep the 22s in there until you do some ugrades that require the 24s.
What's more important is that your Bosch IIIs are probably flow matched. The 24s aren't. That's as, if not more, important than anything else.

I have the 22lb Bosch 3's on my work bench. They are also flow matched.
I am just wanting to know if there is a performance increase. (which I doubt there will be)

I am basicaly trying to pick the TGO brain trust to find out how much of an improvement, if any, will be seen in any aspect of how the car runs.

Aparently you didn't read my post correctly. I have the 24lb SVO Bosch 2's in the car currently. The blue tops are flow matched, they came from AZ TPI.

it depends on who you get them from, Southbay rates his modified bosch III at 24lb at 43 psi.

Re: 22lb Bosch 3's vs 24lb Bosch 2's (ford blue tops)
The ford blue tops are rated at 24lb/hr at 39.5 psi. Typically the Bosch 3's are rated at 43.5 psi. I have a walbro and and Adj fuel pressure regulator, so that has no bearing on it.

Sell the Bosch IIIs. Having them sit around can make them sticky and fail.

Your post said to keep the 22lb's in there. Which aren't installed in the engine currently. Therefore you either read my post wrong or you didn't type what you had intended.
Thank you for your advice about not swapping them.

i dont know i would leave it alone his car is running great, changing your injectors is not an easy job you have to take off a few parts to get to them and that leave room for error or messing up parts gaskets etc. I would sell them and make some money on them.
