TPI dress up
I would like to dress up the engine compartment on my 87 Iroc. Chrome, billet, etc. Does anyone know where I can find kits to do this. I have checked summit and have found valve covers and valve cover caps which I prefer but nothing else. Any ideas??

do u have to sand it to polish it? Or can you just apply the polish?

Re: TPI dress up
has to be sanded perfectly smooth, and then polished to the mirror shine..
and THEN, it has to be kept up, or it will tarnish and dull, or it has to be clearcoated
isnt worth the hassle.

A stock look is much easier to maintain. It's a major pain in the *** to polish everything, but that's how you get a dressed up engine compartment. Otherwise you're stuck with valve covers, a master cylinder cover, and other cheap Chinese chrome junk from Autozone or JCWhitney.
There are vendors that sell polished TPI parts, if you'd rather spend the money. You could also pay someone to polish the parts for you.
