You can check for a leaky injector by pulling the plugs,, if you have a wet cylinder
then you have a leaky injector. If all else fails, send the injectors to us, we will be happy to
put them on our bench and check them out for you, NO CHARGE!
Let us know the outcome.

[QUOTE=InjectorsPlus;4687302]I'd overnight a whole new set and put a tag in the box to send them back...
Just a suggestion.[/QUOT

No problem, we would get another set out to you. We leak test out injectors up to 80psi so when they leave here we are confident that they do not leak, but things do happen. When receive them we will put them on the bench to see where the problem is if any.
When you are ready, just contact us PM or call, and we will be sure to take care of it for you.

I just bookmarked your homepage Southbay! When and if I need to replace my fuel injectors on my 89 IROC 5.7 I will be purchasing from your company. When I read your posts about how you would handle lopez's problems with his injectors, you earned a future customer.

Re: Problem after installin Bosch 3 19lb fuel injectors
I just installed my bosch III worked perfectly (Southbay). I did have a problem very similar to what you are describing after I installed mine but it didn't have anything to do with the injectors. Check to see if you have a code 54. I had to replace the fuel pump relay.
I highly recommend Southbay and their customer service, very patient with me and answered all my questions.

How does your oil pressure sender work? This could be the cause or a bad Fuel pump relay. I'd check and/or replace both.

mine did the exact same thing. had an itermittent code 44 before the changing the injectors, now it runs lean all the time. takes several attemps to crank and have to crack the throttle to crank it. runs like a scalded dog though, just lean. idles great too! have changed everything but the fuel pump and the computer. i am beginning to hate tpi!

Re: Problem after installin Bosch 3 19lb fuel injectors
until i am blue in the face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am thinking the fuel pressure reg mighrt be leaking. i rerplaced the diaphragm back in the summer, but i can still smell gas in the vacuum line. the pressure with the vacuum connected is only 38 at idle. didnt check it unhooked, but that does seem low. like i said, car runs great. the funny thing to me is that at speed the cel will go off until i let off the gas. then it will stay on until i do a wide open throttle bloop gewtting back up to speed.. seems it should be opposite if it is a fueling problem

when you send them, put them to attention Frank. Include a note with your name and your phone number so that we can contact you once we put them on the bench.
