Aluminum Heads
Hey everyone I just recently blew both head gaskets on my 350 TPI. I was about to replace them and realized a crack in the head I was wondering what aluminum heads will bolt up to the factory Intake. I almost bought a set of LT1 heads, but then realized they wouldnt bolt up..Help would be greatly appriciated.

Re: Aluminum Heads
Look for vette 113 or ZZ3 or 4 heads.
The 113 castings are easy to find on ebay or vette forums.
Used on 87-91 vettes.

Re: Aluminum Heads
I have vette/zz4 heads on my TPI, I had to modify the center two intake manifold bolts on either side to make them work. It wasnt much it was just light grinding. I did not feel much of a power increase, nor did any of my recorded info read prove I had improved the power of the engine. However the guys at Dr. Js porting said that the ZZ4/vette 113 heads respond very well to porting (280 cfm) all that for $1,000. Thats a heck of a deal for me because I already have the heads.
If I were you I would look into a nice set of Partiot heads, around the 180cc intake runner range. You should pick up a decent amount of power, but I cant really estimate since I have never used Patriot heads.
