can anybody send or post pics of this?? also any ideas where i can get an alternator bracket?? no local parts stores have one for the TPI setup, nor do any of the junk yards, i am getting very frustrated. I have a bracket that i bought from o'reilly auto parts, but there isn't enough room between the top bracket and the bottom bracket. the alternator wouldn't fit. anybody have any suggestions on what i can do?? could i possibly buy a smaller alternator??

The one you have is probably for a carb engine. I think you should be able to use it if you remove the back mounting tab and just use the water pump and alternator holes. That should allow it to fit.

I cant get a good picture of whats on the car right now. I found this picture and have a line showing where to cut it off. This is what I remember doing back in 05 when I rebuilt the engine. Hope it works for you.

yeah that bracket looks just like the one i bought, mine is chrome, got it off of classicindustries.com, the top tab would bolt to the intake, but the bottom tab was nowhere near a bolt hole on the water pump. the other one i have bolted up just fine to the water pump and intake, but the alternator wouldn't fit between the brackets.
