Limp Home Mode after every start

Hi everyone, I have a 350 TPI running speed density. I just picked up some tuning gear (Ostrich, datalogger, wideband, etc...), since I had my car apart it hasn't run right.
The tune is fairly close, but now it goes
into Limp Home mode almost every time now. If I reset the PCM then it is fine, runs great but as soon as I shut it off it goes back into Limp Home.

The only this that has really changed is I removed the VSS because it was leaking, but I just put it back in and it didn't help anything. I don't know if it really matters but the engine is in an Rx-7.

Any ideas, or help would be greatly appreciated as I a scratching my head on this one.

Thanks,
Anthony

Re: Limp Home Mode after every start

I checked the codes, but it doesn't really make sense to me at least. I get fault Code 23 MAT seonsor low, Code 22 TPS low, Code 21 TPS high, Code 15 CTS low, Code 14 CTS high, Code 13 Oxygen Sensor, and Code 12 No Refernece Pulses. Next to all of them it says okay, but I am getting a good reading from all of the sensors so I really don't know whats up.

Sound like its time to start replacing sensors.your getting a good reading from you pc,detecting sensors that have high or low volts,it dont mean the sensor is good.
dang thats alot of codes im suprised it runs.

Most of the sensors are fairly new, but I have a spare MAT sensor that I could swap out. I am not sure why these sensors would suddenly go bad.

Re: Limp Home Mode after every start

That's not bad sensors. It's a bad connection in the harness somewhere. Either where the wires connect via sockets, or at the grounding points.

I don't think you should have posted the name of the tuner, as it is irrelevant.
