my GTA has ran perfectly fine for the longest time..but all this week (2weeks ago)it has been raining so i didnt drive it all this week...it sat in the same spot everyday till last week when it cleared up...tried to fire it up to goto the store and nothing...

i think it might be the injectors...
the car wont start at all now
i have MSD cap and wires and just replaced the plugs 3k miles ago...help?

Whatever it is, it can't be good. Although, it doesnt sound like a noise the injectors would make...

 

well it wont even start now///gotta get it running before i figure out what the knock is...

 

Did you check for moisture in the dist cap???? It sounds like it is missing on several cylinders and not a knock "to me".

 

I was JUST about to say that. My car had a wicked valve tick that I could not figure out, I took the valve cover off, and snugged the rocker, put it back together, and no fire. I replaced the timing chain, and still no fire. Replaced the cap/rotor, fired right up.

Be sure to check that.

 

Check the plugs and wires.... sounds like what my car was doing. One of the plugs was completely fouled and the wires were arcing. MSD is crap imo.

 

okay...figured it out...my TPS wasnt plugged in O_o LMAO...its running fine now..thanks everyone
