Does my car need to breath????
I have a 89 firebird formula. Dropped an old style 350 in her,... bored 40 over and stock crank and rods and pitsons. 24lb injectors, put a mild cam in her nothing crazy at all. Stock heads intake everything. Seems like she needs more air or something. Do i need a chip? my maf is bad so i gotta replace? could that be the prob? any suggestions would be helpfull. the car came stock with the 350 roller motor i was a noob and didnt no that diff so i threw in an old style sorry guys feel very bad bout it but yea the only thing upped on the motor is the bore size cam headers injectors, and wires and coil. anything

Sounds like you are in the same boat as myself. What kind of times are you running?

Re: Does my car need to breath????
see that what i was thinking. I am thinking either tpis mini ram, or go tpis lower big mouth manifold then large tps runners port plenum and throttle body and get a chip in her and if needed tune. but i think it is breathing issues. sound like it? i havnt had the chance to get a time yet and not really wanting to make my car look small. so gonna wait tilli fell she has her breathing problem undercontrol. any suggestions thanks
is the tpis mini ram really as good as they say?
