tpi intake on 194 heads need HELP NOW
i have a 305 and i just got 194 heads. im on a time basis. my intake will not bolt up. the outside bolts will go in but the center 2 on each side are out of alignment. what is the problem? ive been told by many people that the intake bolts right up. do i have to go back to my stock heads? i dont want to drill any holes bigger. please help

Re: tpi intake on 194 heads need HELP NOW
There are two different intake bolt patterns on a small block Chevy. Up to 86, and 87-up. These two need to be the same to be a direct bolt on, otherwise you have to elongate the center 4 bolt holes to line up and preferably use an angled washer or machine/grind a flat on the intake for the bolt head. Some people dont bother with that, but I'd recommend it.
