new fuel pump, filter, good pressure, lean as hell on idle??
Ok, here's the deal: fuel pressure wouldn't kick up over 25psi max so i changed the fuel filter (no difference) then the fuel pump (new walbro high volume). checked the afpr and it was good, so I reassembled and now i have great fuel pressure (adj to 40 with vac line off), no obvious leaks or anything but my afr at idle is hitting 18-19.5 and its sputtering as you can imagine running that lean. when I pick the rpms up the afr straightens out, and when i hit it afr drops to the 11-12 it normally does under PE.
I was getting 14.9-16 afr at idle with the pressure too low, so this is confusing the hell out of me. any ideas?
