Engine: 357
Transmission: 700r4/3000 stall convertor
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.27
help wont hold fuel pressure
HELP!!! Ok I switched to 22lb injectors and It wont hold fuel pressure. If I pinch the pressure return hose it holds, I read that the regulater was bad..So I swapped it out and its the same thing...I dont get it.. someone please help!!

The small piece of hose between the pick up tube and the pump is leaking.

x2. I bought a pos autozone pump and i had to do the job twice....ugh but i replaced the hose from the pump to the hard line as well and man what a diff. holds 42psi for a good 30 seconds then slowly falls.

The only way to check on that is to pull the tank. If you do, replace the 1 inch section of hose with the proper stuff. It is not just any hose and not just any fuel injection hose. I forget the exact number on it but it is not common and any joker at an auto part store will try to tell you otherwise.
I want to say it is R6 but double check that. If you buy or just look at a complete bosch unit it has the proper hose in the kit. You could look at that to verify the number. I stress to you research this yourself and dont trust just anyone to tell you the hose they have is the right stuff because odds are it isnt.

that is what it was...the rubber hose was seperating ang falling apart....changed it out and it holds pressure now....Thanks!!
