Porting pics of the 601s going on my LB9
This is the first set of heads Ive ever ported or polished so its been a sliding scale. Ive finished one of the intake ports and wanted to post a couple of pics if your considering doing this... also sittingbull has a real good thread...
the stock intake cast on a 601 head, notice the large ledges just before the valve seats...
This is the beginning of the bowl blend,, removing ledges under valve seats...
The begining of shaping the valve guide and blending the bowl n roof...
This is after all shaping and sanding, Im hoping to get good swirl with this form on the valve guide...
PS,, be sure you want to do this and are willing to see it threw if you plan on porting IRON heads.... my aluminum tpi intake is a dream compared to these..
