Flexible Fuel Line Issue
Hi,
GM has discontinued the flexible fuel line that runs from the chassis hard line to the engine hard line.
Application : 87 TPI IROCZ.
I searched the forum posts and it looks like chassis hard line to -6AN adapters may be available.
Some of the posts are so old the links are not available.
Can anyone point me in the correct direction for some adapter part numbers?
Best Regards,
Bruce

Re: Flexible Fuel Line Issue
Sorry, don't have any numbers. It's been quite a while but IIRC, you will need 2 x 5/16 male to 6AN male adaptors for the return and 2 x 3/8 male to 6AN male adaptors for the feed. Then for the 6AN braided line use the female hose ends. Depending on how the hardlines from the fuel rails exit in front you might need 90* fittings on the hose ends to make the connection. Use teflon on the pipe thread only. Good luck!

Re: Flexible Fuel Line Issue
How's it going? Well I am compiling your grocery list to order since I have the same issue on my 1986. I have my set at House of Hoses, UT and want to bring them for install and pressure check before putting them on my ride. I don't have the cutting tools nor the installation tools to ensure that I do the right job. Unless you steer me different.

Re: Flexible Fuel Line Issue
I had THESE guys make me some fuel lines for my car YEARS ago. ...I see they're still in business too, which is nice to see. I didn't see a kit for thirdgens specifically, but I'm SURE if you call 'em they can help you out. ....for that matter any industrial hydraulic shop in your area should be able to help.

Re: Flexible Fuel Line Issue
Okay, so I took Bruce's list and ordered and received all the goodies on his list, but there's some issues with my set-up that doesn't make sense with the list:
So, looking straight down at the lines from the fender side:
The forward lower tube looks to fit fine and the upper fwd tube coupling fits fine
But the aft lower will not accept the flared B-Nut (smaller) and the aft upper line seems to be more the size of the swivel, but that swivel set-up is for a flare... can you assist me on this???

Ha-Ha-Ha...Maybe it was simply long day...everything worked like a champ. I didn't pay close attention to the 14mm setup and the 16mm setup. Maybe I owe Bruce a huge apology...he nailed it...I had my head up and locked...
Thanks Bruce for the list...
