bosch type 2 or bosch type 3
Whats the difference between the bosch design #2 & design #3 injectors. I have an unused set of the #2 19lbs ers for my 87 LB9, Would I be better off selling them & going to type 3's. Is there that much differance. How much modifacations to the engine before I need to go the the next size up. I'll be installing tpis manifold & tubes, Comp Cams 262 HR -12 cam headman shorties. 3" cat back to a flow master 80.

Re: bosch type 2 or bosch type 3
I recently bought new Injectors from FIC. They recommended the Type 2's, since I had iron heads ( L69). Jon said the Type 3's have a plastic body, and can absorb too much heat from the heads, unless they are the Aluminum heads.
