What heads??
Would the camel back heads be good to put on a 350 to make some good power?
I plan on sometime building either a 350 or 383 to put in my camaro, I have a couple of 350's laying around and one has camelback heads on it, or what other heads are good for the TPI intake.
Also what should I use for a cam in it and how about what aftermarket TPI stuff to use, right now the car still has the stock 305 TPI.

Re: What heads??
depends on ur budget... aftermarket heads will make alot more power and are relatively cheap now even aluminum. if u use the TPI the cam has to be computer compatable. ususaly a cam with 218-228 range will be ok for the TPI as far as tuning goes. u dont want alot of duration wit the cam bc the TPI lacks the flow in the upper RPMs to take advantage of the duration of a cam. lift numbers will depend on ur head. a good cam for a hydraulic roller is GM hot cam. 218/228 .495/.495 lift .525/.525 lift with 1.6rr.
aftermarket TPI/parts also depend on ur budget. a TPI is an expensive thing to upgrade. many companies make runners and a couple make bases but depends on what u want to do and ur budget/expected HP output.

Re: What heads??
I probably won't worry too much about the budget, I can't right now because I'm 17, but I was thinking maybe 5 grand maybe less.
I want to have somewhere around 300-400 rwhp, what heads and cam would be good for this?
I was looking at an edelbrock manifold and runners that say they allow more airflow, would it be enough to make 300-400 rwhp? and I know that the rearend would have to be beefed up.
or would it be better to make one of the 350s into a 383?
