Code 33

I just checked to see what was causing a code 33 on my 87 gta with 350 TPI. Do I have a bad MAF sensor or could it be something else? How do I check to see if the Maf is bad? Thanks

Check to make sure the sensor is sealing well, since that code means low vaccuum. Try disconnecting the sensor to see if the car runs better. I've gone through three remanufactured sensors in the past two years until I got one that stayed working.

Also check the relays on the drivers side firewall. There are three relays there, but only two are for the MAF. One is the MAF realay the other is the burnoff relay. Also ckeck you connection at the MAF, make sure it's plugged in right.
