Ok, I'm in a position where I only have my fuel pump relay, its in the right location, works etc. But as far as my MAF burn off and power relay I can't say the same. Are these two relay's the same part number? or not? Differen't amperages, resistance? anything?

I need 'em by monday but unfortunatly no local parts stores even know what a MAF is
So what relays am i after. Thanks!

Ok, now that sounds good..

but I look up the 'part' at partsamerica.com or autozone.com (both suck i know) and i get multiple part numbers from the same manufacturer, like GP-sorenson has MR82 and MR22... which throws the theory for a loop

The burnoff relay and power relay are NOT the same P/N, at least not in my 1988 GTA... The fuel solenoid and power relay ARE though.

they were for my 89 GTA....

 

physically the relays are the same. the attaching
mechanisms are diff. reason for the diff part
numbers. like corvettes, they too have diff
part numbers, but the same in apperence, with
the exception of a plasrtic attaching loom.

They are the same on my 88 GTA as well. At least I though so.

 

Infact he part #s on them are identical

 

in '86 there was a TSB about the MAF relay. pontiac division of general motors corp,, dealer service bulletin, no. 86-6-57 dated august 1986. it caused poor driveability and SES light. the correct relay numbers are:

power relay 10067925
burn off reay 10094701

use these numbers when calling a parts store. yes they look the same and you can switch them around. but, the burn off relay provides different voltage. i have a book on the TSB's up to '93.
