What exactly is spark knock?
I am having a clickin sound in my engine, and people tell me it may be spark knock. What exactly is that, and what are the problems that come from it. How do test to see if it is spark knock?

You really have to listen closely and inspect things. Motors make all kinds of strange noises. Rocker arms tick, valves tick, pullys clank, etc.
Knock usually doesn't accur at idle. so if your ticking at idle its most likely something else.
Exhaust manifold gaskets tick a LOT. Hell, my headers even tick. (never seal).

Knocking is when the fuel in the comubstion chamber ignites too early due to timing too advanced or low octane fuel, it forces the piston back down causing the knocking sound. A way to test for knocking is to monitor your timing, when you hear a knock the computer should retard it if your knock sensor is working properly.
A clicking at idle could likely be bad oiling to some component or possibly something broken. Is it a tapping sound or an actual clicking? Exhaust leaks will click, and will become louder with higher rpms. If something is broken it will not become louder, just more frequent. Low oil levels or insufficient oiling due to low pressure or a clog or something would also become more frequent with higher rpms.
Maybe you need to try some better header gaskets Joe
