Pulsator location?

Anybody have a picture of this thing? Ive searched my butt off!

If i remove the fuel pump is it on top and easily removable?

Pics would be killer, thanks.

Re: Pulsator location?

Why are you asking?

Once you actually get to the fuel pump... its right there mounted on top of it and really hard to miss. Its a metal and plastic piece, kind of a rectangular box shaped thing.

Re: Pulsator location?

My pressure primes and drops instantly when pump stops.

It has a brand new pump in it, but i never even checked the pulsator.

I believe my AFPR is okay, It sounds like pulsator..

Re: Pulsator location?

You might try pinching the return line with some pliers, and seeing if the pressure holds then. If not, that would rule out the FPR.

Re: Pulsator location?

It would only be the pulsator if its leaking, and thats not likely.

Try the pinch method suggested above.

Re: Pulsator location?

I pinched return line, still leaks back fast, no change. I put slight pressure on feed line after prime, and it holds.

So its leaking back into tank, fuel pump is brand new, Id assum pulsator, no?

I am going to pull it out this afternoon and we shall see!

Re: Pulsator location?

No pulsator, it had a line that was all ripped to hell on it.

Put new line on, retested, still looses pressure right when pump shuts off, but does hit 51psi on first pump purge of fuel (used to take 2) and starts better, also feels fresher topend, used to almost feel like a struggle/surge sometimes (i would have right psi, but volume of fuel wouldnt be there)

All in all, Im happy.
