Siamese Runners
I was readin a post the other day, and someone said that the SLP siamese runners, or any bigger sunners will actually lose horsepower on a 305, is this true?

I wouldn't say lose horsepower really.. they may gain power up top, but lose torque down low. The tpi was designed for a 305, so the runners are fine until you do some heavy mods.

The deal is that the siamesed runners (or any other larger runners) may indeed drop the peak hp figures a bit, but will broaden the power band - especially on the top end with the siamesed runners as they shorten the intake runner slightly which basically raises and flattens the power output curve.
