12s possible N/A without NOS, SuperRam, or Miniram???

Anyone know how to upgrade my intake and heads in such a manner that I don't use NOS, a SuperRam, or a Miniram? Thanks in advance.

siamese your intake. i am done with mine and will have pics later. i only went 1.5 inches into the intake and if that doesn't move it up enough i'll do more later. i think mad max went like 3-4 inches and he noticed a great difference.
then have you heads extrude honed

You will need more then intake and heads to run solid 12s, a cam too. Get some SLP or ASM runner, aftermarket base, ported plenum, some good flowing heads and a mild cam. Good exhaust would be nice. That should run some 12s

Yeah, I forgot to say I already had a cam. All my mods are in the sig. So 12s are possible with an LTR design without N20 or a blower? Thanks.

12's are possible but you'll need help with gears(3.70's)a good converter(b&m holeshot or vigillante)as for the engine if you want a proven combo call lingenfelter for his ported l98 aluminums(2.00in./1.55ex.)and his cam designed for the superram(211/219,112lsa)and of course an accel superram however prom tuning will be a factor.these mods although expensive should put you in the low to mid 12's..

shooting for 13's!!!!!!!

i also noticed your mph it's right about where it should be.a manual car running 14 flat should be around 95mph so your suspension definatly likes your current setup.once you get the xtra rpm's out of your engine those 3.27's are only gonna hurt you.

You'll really need to do the cam. If you have the SuperRam by all means get the 219*. That will make it get up and be taken notice of.

i thought he wanted to stick with LTR's?
make sure you plenum is hogged out good and plenty when you do the runners and base, i run my SR on a stock(seriously ****in ported)
base.on the car in the sig. below i had a edelbrock base compared to my ported stock unit and saw NO! improvement.
i would agree with the slp runners or arizona spd and marine runrs. a good base and TB, along with a well thought exh (true duals maybe ). and definitely more gear.
but ya know heres the bitch of it... you get your 12's and then you'll want more, but you'll look around as i did and you'll noticed that ...wait a minute? nobody around here, anywhere for that matter is runnig 11's with a 350 and LTR's and N/A.... so then you have to find somebody to sell your intake parts to and buy a SR or spend a few hundred more for a Miniram.
at that point you've realized what you should've from the beginning to exceed the goals you had at the time you ventured out to to modify you TPI terror.

thats just my .02

I looked at what guys were running and what they had for engine combos and knew I needed either a SR or miniram to get what I wanted from an N/A engine. I went w/ the SR b/c it is better suited for what I am trying to accomplish. I just think it's a lot easier to make power w/ the SR and miniram over the LTR setup.

WORD... If you really like the way LTR looks, put it in a pickup truck where it belongs. And for all you preaching torque, no one races to the 330' mark sorry, No one is towing their boat around with a 3rd gen either. With a 5+ liter V8 lack of torque isn't an issue. Drive a honda, there's a lack of torque, but don't cry when he pulls you in the top end. Sorry just on this going fast kick since i met some guys with DSMs 10 cars, 5 of them going 13.5 or quicker. This 305 is going 12s or blowing up trying(hopefully soon).

BTW I did see a 3rd gen pulling a trailer the other day not a boat but close. Also I see lots of vettes pullin stuff. Why do people use a sports car to pull stuff? Seems silly to me.

Not true!, I live right by I-75 and make my fair amount of 60mile one way trips up and down it, I've seen all sorts of things, vettes with trailers, and countless thirdgens with them. I about had to pull them off the road and slap them
