Throttle Body Blades
This is an update to "Another Idling Problem" post. So the throtle body is at the machine shop right now getting new bushings installed for the butterfly valve shaft to correct the vacuum leak. I will post any interesting information regarding this procedure here.
However, I heard that once you have the throttle body off grinding the bottom of the throttle body blades thickness from about 1 mm down to a sharp edge improves air flow I guess especially during wide open throttle. I did a search and found no information on this subject. Do after market Holley, BBk, Edelbrock, etc. make this modification to the throttle body blades?
