Oil in my throttle body?
I have and 87 IROC-Z 5.0 TPI. Lately Ive been having problems with my car idle-ing. So my I took it to one of my friends who also has a third gen. He told me to take off the intake so I did and to my surpirse there was a little bit of oil in the throttle body. We tried to located the oil leak, but we cant seem to find it. Where can it becoming from? Any help would save me the cost of having the engine rebuilt later, thanks.

probably through the breather line, the vacuum hose that goes to the passenger side valve cover. Pull it out of the valve cover and look inside it, there should be a little flter in it. Mine was missing, and I was getting a little oil in the TB too.
