Heads for a tpi system.
Do you need a special set of heads for the tpi system. The heads that I have are
New Dart/World heart-shaped chamber, 200cc intake runners, straight plug heads with 2.02"Int/1.600"Exh swirl polished stainless valves with undercut stems for even more flow.

The only special thing about TPI engines is the change in 1987 to the different-angle for the four center bolts. If you get an aftermarket intake manifold, (Edelbrock 3860) it is set up for both bolt patterns. The only other thing is whether those heads have perimeter bolt valve covers or center bolt valve covers.

The valve cover bolts are not in the center. There are only four hole and they are on the outside of the covers.

Exactly, like i said.. you will need to find the the TPI base plate for an 85-86 F-Body to fit those heads.
