Car: Damn
Engine: This
Transmission: New Stuff
The lift looks a little low for that setup, Could put bigger rockers to help out. What's the powerband on that cam, you'll want one that is strong to at least 6500 with the miniram.
I would go with a Fluidamper, they are very good into the high rpms.

'88 RS (originally 2.8)
-350, .040 over, vette alum. L98s, stock tpi.
-305 injectors & chip
-TES headers & edelbrock cat back
-3.73 gears, 700r4.
Best with 2.8-17.4@77mph
Best with 305-15.0@93mph
Best with 356-13.7@101mph
on a 2.050 60 ft.
(Damn the 2.8!)

they said they don't recommend high ratio rockers with their cams that it screws up the geometry, power range 2000-5800,I think I talked to the wrong tech guy!!!!

Transmission: 6-Speed
I ran that cam on a 112LSA with 1.6 rockers to pump up the lift with my AFR190s and the MiniRam (ran 12.2's @ 112mph). Its a good cam but its too small for the MiniRam, IMHO. I would recommend going one step higher with the 224/230 Xtreme on a 112LSA. But, be prepared to do some PROM work! One reason that CC recommends smaller cams for the EFI cars is because they don't want to worry about the computer. The 218/224 will actually somewhat work with the stock computer. The BLMs will bottom out at 108 but the INT won't bottom out (at idle). The bad thing is that since this cam runs this rich at idle then you will be dumping fuel into the cylinders until the car gets into closed loop (where the BLM will drop to 108 in order to subtract fuel). This cam is basically on the ragged edge for working with the stock computer in closed loop at part throttle.

I actually ran this cam with the stock chip with the fuel pressure pumped up and it did ok. But, I gained A LOT of driveability with some PROM work and definitely some WOT power

I actually swapped out the 218/224 for a 230/245 cam.

All Natural. No Force. No Drugs. Stock Bottom End. Stock Body Panels.
Gunning for NA 11's with bigger cam, bigger stall, and bigger exhaust.
