52 to 58mm throttle body from GM???
Anyone know if a Chevy truck motor used a 52 to 58mm throttle body that would mount up to an L98 intake? Didn't they make the 454 for quite a number of years? I sure would like to find out and just find one in a salvage yard and unbolt it.

Welcome to TGO wordguy. No mass production GM truck ever came with TPI(Tuned Port Injection -8 fuel injectors). They came with TBI(Throttle Body Injection (Looks a lot like a carb setup)-2 fuel injectors 305-350 and the 454). Secondly, No mass production Camaro(F-body) ever came with a 52mm or 58mm TB. Those are aftermarket ONLY parts. GM sent the F-body out the door with only a 48mm TB. If you want a 52mm or 58mm TB cheap -get one from the TGO Classifieds. BTW the 58mm unit is overkill for anything smaller than a 383 cube motor. Hope I saved you some time at the yards.

The 58mm vs. 52mm debate can go on and on but I use a 58mm on my 350 and love it.
