It is a lingenfelter/accel grind.I know of one fellow racer, a 91 350 auto 3.23, with this and she is running 13.6 all day on an otherwise stock motor. I have heard about the LT4 and the COMPU CAMS, but i i don't know which to go with. Also TPIS has a "like" cam i am looking at. Please point me to the right one. my sig show what i have. I am going to boost eventually, but for now i want a low N/A 13 car. Also i am looking at WORLD PRODUCTS S/R TORQUERS for heads. thanx to all THE SHAGGY IROC

I think that's the superram grind for a hydraulic cam. check that pn on lingenfelter's website to make sure. are you getting a superram?

Those LPE Cams are good in the fact that they are desigined specificly for our TPI cars, comp cams and other such companies make them for just general SBCs, usualy built for a carbed 350. I would stay with a cam from a fuel injection performance company like SLP, LPE or the GMPP cams. I got the LT4 HOT Cam for $165, its a big one though, 218*/228* @ .050 with .498" lift on both sides. But if you get a set of Trick Flow heads (I would't go with the torquers) and use a superram or miniram intake, its ideal. The cam was desigined for short runner intakes, not the long runner TPI set-up. But the same goes for that LPE Cam you are suggesting.

Stay away from the Crane compucams, they blow chunks.
Get the LPE 74219 cam for N/A and if you boost it later Accel has a 215-220 cam on a 115 lsa that's good for boosted motors.

Yes, that LPE cam is pretty nice
I still don't have any times with my setup... I'm fouling the number 6 plug still so I've only been running on 7 cylinders as of late... I've checked everything and have determined a bad ring.
I may take it to the track to see how it runs with 7cylinders

they want $315.00 for it, i will keep the tpi as is, with minor upgrades. Like i said the guys in the club swear by this cam for both the l98 and the lt1. I know the LT1 guy that sold it to her ( the L98 girl) for $150.00 And her car goes like a raped ape. Shaggy Iroc

Yeah, I totally agree with Kevin, the price of all the GMPP cams is great, and they are cams just like SLP, TPIS, LPE, nothing special, you just pay for the names.

845?? naw, be the big man and step up to the 847. It's gonna be that or the cc306 for me.
But then again, I'm building a 383 with nearly 300cfm heads and a mini-ram.
