no one seems to use them, but also i don't think the make them for the f-body TPI's, however, i have seem them for sell for the corvette TPI's, which should fit ours. im not sure where i found it, but i went to yahoo shopping, and searched for throttle body spacers, and found one for a vett for about $90.

Poweraid makes them for our cars. I asked about this before and didn't get many responses. They are supposed to create a spinning air charge to increase mid-range and better atomization. I have not used one so I do not know if it works.

I like how they have dyno sheets for an air intake system that's pretty much anyone can do with a little bit of thought and creativity..

HOWEVER... where's the "dyno proven" power that the spacer itself actually makes? Bunch of bogus if you ask me..

Also, if creating a smooth path for airflow the key to IMPROVING airflow, then why create turbulence?

As for creating an air-fuel mixture, we're using fuel injectors at the base of the of the intake manifold, not at the TB..which means that the turbulence should be after the injector... shouldn't it?

The only thing I can think a TPI throttle spacer would do is to increase the air volume of the plenum.

The last thing a TPI motor needs is for the TB to be farther away from the intake ports.

It would make the runners effectively longer, which would cut down even more RPM the motors are able to turn. Everyone is trying for the opposite. Don't waste your money. ...that is unless you don't mind your peak power being a 4000 RPM. ...02

YA, i think maybe if u had a carb or a different type of set up, besides ours, then it might work.
