91 z28 305 tpi lack of power after warm
95k miles. Starts, run good when engine cold, great acceleration, etc... It seems to run fine if I don't get on it and stays cool i.e. 180 degrees.
When engine reaches around 220 degrees, it loses power around 2000 rpm (seems like it's missiing) and hunts about 100 or so rpm at idle. i did the normal drill (reading threads til my eyes were shot), replaced plugs, pcv valve, o2 sensor, distributor, fuel pump (many times lol), IAC, MAP, Temp sensors. The cooling fan kicks on at about 220 degrees. Set timing at 6 degrees btdc (emission sticker on hood). This fuel pump (Carter from napa)is showing around 38-41 psi. Got rid of the pulsator tonight. Same old thing, just another day. Plenum vacuum leak? Clueless, how do I check? any descent advise would be appreciated.
Also wondering if I didn't get the 2 center fuel lines crossed at top of tank, since I did the cut the hole in the top of deck trick (thankful I did that) auto parts guy gave me a TBI pump first time. I also didn't head the cheap pump warnings posted here
