What Injectors should I use?
I posted yesterday....Took my injectors out and at least 3 of them were leaking. Put in a set of 305 injectors off an 87 TPI setup I have laying around in the garage and whoa!! The car runs soooooo much better, starts great now and seems to have a little MORE power?!?!?! Anyway....I am trying to decide what to do. A definite is that I will be putting in a fuel pressure regulator, What kind do you guys prefer? Also I am wrestling with whether I should send my stock 350 injectors out to Cruzin Performance or buy new ones. I see on their website that Accel has 21, 23, 24lb and so on....Stock is 22, so what should I do? Engine is stock with 145K miles on it. I'm going to be adding headers soon, and maybe a slightly bigger cam but no huge mods are in my plans. Any ideas? Thanks

sTICK WITH THE STOCK 22# RATING. Just get a matched set. Then as you do mods you can bump the pressure up or done a bit to see if you can find a few more horses. You are no where near the mods you need for bigger injectors. Smaller injectors with higher pressure make more power anyways for a lot of reasons that I do not car to go into right now. If you want a big spill on it send me an email and I will give you all the reasons to use smaller injectors with more pressure.
For the AFPR I recommend TPIS. I had one that worked well for over 40,000miles with a lot of adjustment from mod to mod and for an engine swap from a 305 to a 350.
Good luck, but remember get a flow matched set. Though if you want bigger injectors you will need a CUSTOM prom or you will be way to Rich!!

Past Thirdgen:
86 Trans Am w/ built 355TPI with SLP goodies and too much other stuff to List. One sweet *** car, wish I would have had a good enough Job to pay insurance on three cars so I could keep it, but for a 89 Turbo Trans Am w/ Low miles, I think I made the right choice!
