K&N Cone Air Filters - Worth it?? 600 cfm or 1000 cfm??

I am looking into a K&N cone air filter that mounts right onto the throttle body. I have a stock TPI intake on a 355 motor, but I do have a hot cam and headers with a high flow exhaust. Do you guys like it? How does it compare to the home-made ram air kits? Why would anyone buy the 600 cfm one? Wouldn't it be best for every motor to force in as much air as possible? Thanks for the help.

Bad route to go IMO. You will be picking up all the hot air off the radiator...
And if you have a MAF sensor, then you cant even do it.

You cannot use the 1000cfm. It is much too large; you will notice that in most descriptions of the 1000cfm, it says that it is for aftermarket systems. It will not fit a stock setup, and does not have clearence since the t-stat hose is in the way. Trust me, I tried it and had to send it back for the 600cfm.
