IS THIS CAM TOO LUMPY

383 Sportsman IIs 9.8:1 superam base
SLP siamese runners& plennum all ported
24Ib injectors Cam 462/477 218/224@.050
112LSA.Will I have vac problems with TPI.
Will it have a noticable idle?

Nah, in a 383, that'd be hella fine. It might even live happily with a stock converter.

Should be alright. 112LSA will work and it has decent duration.

'88 IROC TPI 355, '69 truck 4-bolt, fully balanced, 9.75:1 compression, fully ported '70 truck heads(for now), Harland Sharp 1.6 Roller Rockers, Comp Cams CS 252AH-12, ported '86 TPI converted to speed density, Crane AFPR, Flowmaster 3in. exhaust, Edelbrock TES headers, all emissions equipment is still intact, plan on burning my own chips, many more mods and parts on the way as time and money permits =(

works fine with my motor and i got a stock intake setup

That sounds like a fine cam for a 383 engine. It'll probably only burble a little; Just enough to make the guys in the parking lot turn around to see what's shakin'.

FWIW, I'll be using a 230/236 cam in my stroker when its finished. Now, THAT will have a noticeable idle, baby!
