30# Injectors too big?

I recently got a great deal on a set of 30# SVO Injectors but am wondering if they may be too much. I'm running a 355 w/ Sportsman II heads, 9.5 to 1 compression, 58mm TB, Edelbrock runners & base, ported plenum and a moderately healthy cam. This set-up was in the car when I bought it but still has the 19# injectors in it and significantly leans out in upper RPMs. I've heard that it may load up at idle w/ the larger injectors but would appreciate them in the upper RPMs. I'm currently having a chip custom burned but am becoming concerned that these may be too large. I'm planning on a larger engine set-up sometime this summer w/ a bigger cam, etc too. Any thoughts?

If you program the chip for them they will be OK, just remember with something flowing that much you need more fuel, but you also need that custom chip to prevent them from flooding at idle.
Sounds like you got a nice set up. Good luck

30# injectors are pretty big for a TPI motor unless it's supercharged or using dry nitrous.

I agree with 98 1LE, 30#s are too big and 24#s would be a better match IMO.
