Opinions on Best intake....period

ok, i'm building a Procharged D-1X motor with about 20lbs of boost and plan on using the long runner setup. i planned on using semi siamesed runners from AS&M, already have a ported plenum (ported for accel runners, but i'll port to match the AS&M), and a 58mm throttle body.

my question is on bases. here is what i know so far:
AS&M: exchange only..fully ported 230cfm per runner so they claim
Accel: dont know much about
Edelbrock: same as TPIS just not ported
TPIS: same as edelbrock but ported

so where should my almighty dollar be spent? i'm not really concerned about price...just something i can buy once and be done with it.
Just a FYI: i'm going with AFR or canfield 195cc heads.

thanks

I dont know how bad back order on edelbrock manifolds are now but if its like it was a while back, Id order now if You dont plan on using it for a while. That way it will get there just as you decide to start tearing into it. LOL

You can pay about a 2 bills m ore and buy TPIS intake which can be achieved with an edelbrock and a dremel in about an hour.

Ive had the TPIS one so I know.

I think they are all the same.

thats what i was thinking about doing. Has anyone ever done that before? Also, what kind of gains would be netted since the runners at the bottom aren't siamesed? I am the type of person to go and try this but would need some proof it actually helped

with a a miniram and high boost you would need to compensate with fuel distribution problems with either a SEFI speed pro, a Accel VIC, or just modify your TPI setup to pull to 7000rpm...dont believe me?

i'll show you dyno sheets next summer
