Are all TPI plenums EXACTLY the same in 85-92?
I'm thinking of buying a plenum to polish and port so I dont have to not have my car for a week.
Are they exactly the same. With vacuum fittings..weatherpack connections....basically everything?

No, 85 - 89 are the same, and 90 - 92 are the same. The only difference is the 90 and later ones had the provision for the MAP sensor.

85-88, and 89-92. I replied to your other post in the history/restoration forum.

Car: 90 IROC
Engine: 406
Transmission: GMPP 93/4L60
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.27
The 90-92 plenums have a smoother radius inside, around the plenum to runner holes from the factory. The 85-88 plenums have alot of sharp edges inside. And the wall at the front is smaller on the 90-92 plenums.
I compared an 88 to my 90 and was surprised at the difference.
