lb9 tech data ?
curious to what makes the outputs of the 5 speed lb9 cars vary as much as it does? what did the 230hp/300tq have over the other variants?

I assume you mean difference between model years? I know air intake systems were changed a number of times of the years. I'm not sure what else was changed. Although I'm sure other members on the board will know

cam in the 5sd's was the l98 cam, and dual cat cars also had a bit more h.p.

The ones with 230/300 numbers had dual cats and larger 2 3/4" cat-back exhaust of the 350's over the 205/270 cars. The 205/270 cars had a single cat and the small TBI 2 1/4" exhaust.
