Anybody whos fuel rail looks like this -->
Please let me know what car you have if your fuel rail looks like this:
I need to know if anybody with a STOCK TPI as a fuel rail with the fittings pointing STRAIGHT OUT, and not curved over to the drivers side. If yours is STRAIGHT OUT, let me know.

I see you have an 87 GTA, what do the hard lines look like, going from the fuel rail fittings, to the rubber flex lines? I guess they are "L" shaped?

No, BUT, I bought fuel lines to do my TPI conversion, and noticed in all the parts diagrams at work have the curved fuel rail lines, and I need the intermediate lines (from the fuel rail to the rubber flex lines for a fuel rail in the pic above) and I know the Corvette's lines are straight,(thats where the pic came from) but none if its lines will interchange.

GMTech,
I did a TPI swap on my S15. I had to make up the lines to work. My fuel rail is like the normal F-body, so I needed to get a 60 degree elbow to hook into the fittings and then allow me to connect a rubber hose. I basically scoured the wreckers and took a bunch of fittings off fuel lines until I found one with the right bends.
So I have the fuel rail, connect with steel fittings about 3 inches of pipe, then a rubber line to another set of steel lines which run down the block, and then to the traditional rubber lines that connect to the fuel lines on the vehicle.
A little crude I admit. I would have preferred to bend some steel lines and make it look proper.
With your setup, you might have to, gulp, cut the ends off the fuel rail and clamp on rubber lines. Darn ugly, but it will work.
My 1 cent. (2 cents if it was a clean idea).
Mark.

That picture is showing a Y-BODY fuel rail that receives and returns fuel on the PASSENGER SIDE. It will work on the 85-87 non serpentine applications F-bodies, with some good line bending. I actually use dhtis Y-body fuel rail in my Monte 88 since my fuel lines come on the PASSENGER SIDE, and I have an 88-92 F-body serpentine setup, but I had to cut off the ends and use HIGH PRESSURE HOSE to connect it. I also used ORANGE AEROQUIP HIGH TEMP sheating to protect the fuel hoses from the engine bay heat and so on. It would save a lot of hassles if you just got the F-body fuel rails. You can get some CHEAP from CAMARO HEAVEN in New Hampshire at 1-800-CAMARO-1. I think that they still sell them for $50, HTH's

Well on my 92 the fuel lines are ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE and they look very GOOD BEING ON THE SIDE. So I don't HAVE TO USE any bends or ANYTHING LIKE THAT. So IN cAsE you DIDNT KNOW, the fuel LINES are on THE driver's SIDE on 92 Fbodies. LOL !

The lines on both my F-bodies are curved. If somebody needs a straight set I got that too from the junk vette motor I started off my engine project with... no injectors (well, I got a 9th injector) - I already took them.
