Re: 30lb svo injectors???

They would be fine, but over kill.

The 24# will work just fine

As will your stock 22# if in verified good shape.

Re: 30lb svo injectors???

I am currently running 24# Ford Racing injectors (formally SVO) in my 395 cu.in. stroker motor at 52psi fuel pressure. The 30# injectors are certainly overkill, and not necessary. My 24s were first installed in my modified 350 (head, cam, gear) car back in 1997 (or so). So, if I can run the 24s in my 395, you can run 24s in your 350.

My advice is to install a AFPR and 24#/hr injectors. And for best performance, an Eprom chip might be needed. If you go with the 30s, a new chip is required, the engine will not run right with 30s when its program for 22s. The 350s came with 22 #/hr injectors from the factory, just to let you know if you did not.

Re: 30lb svo injectors???

unless your planning on making over 400hp 30 are overkill and u will deff need a chip to shorten up the pulse width otherwise u'll run rich as hell.. i just put 24's and an adjustable pressure reg. and need a chip. as far as cycling and boiling fuel thats crap each injector opens once per revolution no matter how much it flows.. the only difference is an injector that flows less fuel will need to be open longer then one that flows more fuel.. thats why if u put high flowing injectors in a motor that doesnt require it u need a chip to shorten up the pw to make it flow as much as a lower rated injector
