Loose plug

I was looking around the engine bay in my IROC and noticed that there's a loose plug down at the bottom of the engine. If I look down on the driver's side of the engine, I can see a square white plug with 4 prongs just hanging down there. Is it possibly a plug for the tranny or what? Thanks.

Re: Loose plug

pic?
Can't think of any 4 prong plugs that should be anywhere around there.
