Looking for a lumpy cam

Okay, I've already got a strong motor and my cars fast, but it's time to rebuild, so I'm ready to shoot for more, over 500 hp, maybe 600, haven't decided yet. I'm going to build a new engine and I want a cam with attitude. That's right, when Ricky Racer pulls up next to me I want to see fear in his eyes just from the sound of the cam.
I want a cam that will work with our EFI that is streetable. I've got a good idea of what I want but I can't hear the cam before hand so I'm asking my fellow TGO brethren to help me out here. My cam talks a little at idle, but not much, not enough. I used to have a 1972 Mustang Mach 1 running a built 351 CobraJet (601 hp) with a Crane Fireball 302 cam. That was a thumping cam, I'm talking it would make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. That's what I'm talking about, a cam that dares anyone to mess with you. I know I can't get the same nasty loping idle as the fireball cam, not with EFI, but I want some tone. TALK TO ME!!!!!

I'm also trying to decide between a SuperRam and a StealthRam, so chime in on that if you feel like it.

Thanks Amigos!!!

that'd be my pick for either of the intakes you chose.

I've heard the LT4 hot cam, no attitude there.

3rdGenZ have you heard either of those cams in a car?

Yes, your cam has some attitude, sounds good. I'm going to see if I can find sound clip.

The Thumper series are retrofit cams for original flat tappet cam motors and they have tight LSA's, not made for computer controlled EFI motors.

Re: Looking for a lumpy cam

Streetable and lumpy camshaft are opposite words, but I suppose that depends on your definition of each.

Stealthram if you dont have emissions testing, Superram if you do. Just be prepared to do your own custom chips (that's for anyone else reading this)
